Probably the best studio tour of them all, Paramount's is a 2 hour walking/tram tour of most of the studio. We got to see most of the sets of TV shows currently being filmed there, and even got to see a couple in production. The set of "Yes, Dear" The set of "Love Inc." "Entertainment Tonight" "Nip/Tuck" Outside in the backlot, we found an episode of "Everybody Hates Chris" to spy on at the New York Street: Probably the most impressive sets were those from "Charmed" - including all 3 floors of a very large house. While outside, our guide was informed of an episode of "Charmed" being filmed, so she snuck us as close as she could to the action - about 50 ft. away from the actors and camera. It was here that I sat on the bench from "Forrest Gump" and watched a couple takes being filmed. What was great about this tour was that it was a small group (7 or so) and special attention was made to show us the most things in the given amount of time - unlike the others where there was a lot of filler (like the intro promotional videos). Our guide was constantly jumping around from soundstage to sounstage to see which ones we could get in. Though the backlot is a fraction of the size of Universal or Warners, it was still fun to walk around the many TV show sets.
